Ok you only have a minute...
YOU can have net zero energy bills & a net zero home carbon footprint!
You don't need some fancy grand designs house. You just need to be a homeowner.
How?
You generate your own electricity using solar power, and make money from it using the new electricity export tariffs.
The power you generate and the money you make is enough to pay for your winter's electricity to run and heat your house, if you use a highly efficient heat pump, and more clever time-of-use tariffs.
For proof, see graphs below: our real energy costs dropping to net zero.
What's the catch?
You have to invest of course, but zero energy bills tends to pay back in 8-12 years, or a 8-12% return on investment. The investment is likely to be less than a new kitchen, and unlike a kitchen it pays back!

This only became possible recently, with lower costs for solar PV and heat pumps, and smart electricity tariffs that pay you well for your excess solar.
Why would this not be a great project for your house, family and finances?
